English Story

Here is part of a story I wrote for an English assignment at the beginning of the year. It is called The Phantom. What we had to do for the assignment was to write and make a book, it was really fun. Hope you like it.

(Blurb: The night air was cold and foggy in the city of London. Not a sound was heard that quiet night. Suddenly, the officers' whistles were blowing loud, "Where did he go? Which way? Did you see him?" The Phantom had struck again!
This notorious thief has been wanted for quite some time, no one could catch him. That's when Belinda, the bounty hunter from Paris, found out about him. She has vowed to catch him, and maybe his heart.)

Writing Challenge

A pastor named David  came to our school last year, he's an author. He taught us some neat tricks about how to write stories. Any way, when he came to our school, I bought his book .In the back of the book, it had a writing challenge, called Pastor Dave's Challenge. What you had to do was choose a Bible story and rewrite it. I chose to do mine on a short man called Zachaeus that climbed a tree so he could see Jesus.

Cliffhanger

For all of those that don't know what a cliffhanger is, it's a story that ends where you do not want it to. Like at the most exciting part, it will suddenly stop, leaving you in suspense.

This is a cliffhanger I gave to my old teacher to give to her class, I was in grade 6 in her class. When I was in her class, she gave us a cliffhanger and we had to end it, so I decided to give her one to use on her class. Hope you enjoy it.
